Reasonable people must stand up for reasonable laws relating to attack/assault weapons. The unspeakable acts of an evil or insane person cannot always be prevented, but as civilized people, we have an obligation to take steps to minimize access to the very tools used by these individuals to orchestrate their deviant acts. I support the right to own firearms for sport and personal protection. I do not believe as some of the NRA propaganda dictates, that it is necessary to have a military type assault weapon "at the ready" to defend the nation. This is absurdity and has been used to divide the American people for both political and monetary purposes by the NRA for decades. Let's end it now!.
