The adoption industry is a multibillion dollar industry that is less regulated than the real estate industry. We are calling for more regulations including:
*Not allowing minors to meet with adoption agency workers in secret.
*Stop telling women open adoption is legally enforceable when it's not in any state.
*Stop allowing women to give up their baby behind the backs of the baby's law abiding father.
*Abolish pre-birth consent.
*Mandate extended family must be interviewed if they will care for the baby before non-family can adopt.
*Give citizenship to international adoptees who do not have it yet.
*Demand adoption agencies must pass along biological medical information.
*Inform women of the high rate of PTSD in biological mothers.
*Give a certificate of adoption instead of amending.
