It's time to stop gun sales in the US. It is not 1789 and we are not at war. We need to start protecting our kids.

The country in which millions of us call home is under siege. Not only from terrorists abroad but from the threat within our own borders. How many massacres must we endure? More than 220 years ago the right to bear arms was needed to protect home and property from foreign invaders. We face no such threat today. We do not need to hunt as all our produce is available at the supermarket. So tell me then, why do we need guns? Guns are instruments of death and nothing good has ever come from them. The only guns needed should be isolated to the military. This is not about red or blue. This not about politics. This is about giving our children the opportunity to live and to prosper. They should not worry about going to school or to the theatre. This needs to stop now We need to protect the future
