ITT Tech closed. Which hurt all their employees and students. Did not get a notice.

I'm a Veteran using my GI Bill to get an education and lost that money. Friends that were almost finished with their degree. Have credits that will not transfer. Great professors and people that actually cared about us, students, are unemployed. I thought education was suppose to help people not screw them. What about all the time dedicated on our spare time trying to get a degree is all for nothing. ITT Tech knew about this decision to close in June but still have a quarter and did not let anyone know about their decision until yesterday. How is the government protecting us? It just made more unemployment and people trying to improve themselves are heart broken and no longer has a means. Most ITT Tech students were adults with jobs trying to go to school in the evenings/weekends.
