J Edgar Hoover was a racist. Why does his name remain on a government Bldg? Change the name of the FBI Headquarters.

Created by R.E. on February 22, 2016

We know J Edgar Hoover was a racist and put policies in place targeting blacks Americans; considering them a threat to the American system which oppressed minorities. No person who hated and oppressed a portion of American public should have their name displayed on a building paid for and designed for the protection of all Americans. Removing the name will show the U.S. commitment to wiping out racism in the future and will not accept those in our past as good Americans deserving of having a government building named after them for causing a clear division in the United States among its people.
