Directing the FBI to try to force Apple to create a backdoor to hack into the iPhone's encryption is outrageous and unacceptable. If such a backdoor were done even one time, law enforcement as well as foreign governments (friendly or not) would soon be demanding the same thing. Criminal hackers would inevitably get their hands on it. None of our private data would ever be safe again. The financial losses to Apple and the economy in general could be massive. And what would be gained? James Comey should be shamed and his resignation demanded by our President at once.
