Japanese Government to address the issue of Comfort Women and formally apologize for wartime atrocities.

Created by A.S. on January 12, 2014

We want to put an end to the issue of Comfort Women. It is a fact that many women were forced to work at Comfort Stations. Prostitution in all forms degrades women of their basic human rights. It is a shame Japanese Government is trying to say most of the Comfort Women volunteered... Even if just one woman was forced into being a comfort woman, they still need to apologize to her. We want this issue addressed before that one person passes away. We want more statues and monuments to be erected in remembrance of those who suffered and to show the world, this sad moment in human story should never repeat itself, ever. We ask Japanese Government to issue a formal apology and help the world understand and heal from this sad chapter in human history by erecting more statues and monuments.
