The Javascript programming language should be taught in public schools in 1st grade to encourage technology in children.

Created by A.E. on January 26, 2013

The Javascript programming language should be taught at the 1st grade level in public schools to help encourage children to take an active role in technology.

Javascript is the most widely used web programming language on the web.

Children should be encouraged at a young age to engage in developing technology that they may otherwise never be exposed to.

The hope is that more US children will go on to further their education in a technology related field having been exposed to it at an early age, making the US more competitive globally.
