My petition is VERY important because there are many people in the U.S who have been charged with a crime felony / misdemeanor wheter they commited the crime or not & that is stopping them from becoming employed and also pursing thier career , leaving them homeless or turning to illegal ways to provide for themselves also their families . i believe that jobs should accept people with criminal background who are willing to change their lives around. I would like for it to be a law where employers cannot discriminate someone based in their pass EVERY ONE deserves a second chance at i believe background checks should not be required .
