Mr. President,
I own 3 pharmacies in TX. I do agree that cuts need to be made in Healthcare concerning Physicians and Hospitals.
In TX pharmacies have encured a 70% reduction because of PBM's administering the program.
Pharmacies, unlike physicians and Hospitals, have been taking a hit from insureres and PBM's for the last 30 years!
Many pharmacies are closing in TX leaving many who cannot drive or are to far from a pharmacy for medications.
Which is why the ER rooms are filling up!
The PBM's are a middle man between the insurers and manufacturers that do nothing but cut deals between the two for extreme profits that do nothing for the patient and severly cripple the provider, ie. pharmacy.
There is no transparency with PBM's so these extreme profits are only made possible by lobbyists.
