John's case was a gross misfortune for 2 people. A man jumps out of a car starts running towards him waving an umbrella in the air. From a distance Johnny thinks he's waving a gun & going to shoot him. A fight ensures and one man is left dead and Johnny was sentenced to life with out the possibly of parole. Not only was he not given a fair trial with all evidence presented by the state The judge who tried the case was "DISBARRED" shortly after for gross misconduct with the DA who tried his case.
Johnny's conviction was unusually harsh, cruel, and clearly violates his civil rights and is unlawful according to 8th amendment of the united states constitution which were written to protect the people.
