The United States has resisted the move to the metric system for decades, putting our nation at a disadvantage when dealing with the rest of the world. It is time to leave the antiquated system behind and join in the community of nations in a logical system of measurement.
For future generations, it is incumbent that we make the change to metric system and petition the President to take the necessary steps to begin a real and permanent conversion to the metric system.
