Make it possible for a joint presidency. One president can work on the economy and other one social issues. Plus a vice President. Different views on the same topic could be refreshing for the office. Competitions make people try to do better and top their opponent(s). My thought is that if presidents weren't so overwhelmed maybe they can accomplish more without failing as much.
