This petition is extremely important to me because I lost my mom, my best friend in the entire world, to a deadly form of cancer called Pelvic-Sarcoma. The cataclysmic effects it has on the human body and on a family is the most tragic event I have ever witnessed in my entire life. I am so proud of the fact that a plethora of research, time, money, and diligence has been devoted to cancer research. However, I find myself asking the question, "Where is the same dedication for Sarcoma cancer research?" I rarely hear about it and when I try to locate it on the internet, every site is either no longer available or a petition has been rejected due to lack of signatures. I pray for an equitable stand to be taken for Sarcoma cancer research and an awareness month for all of the lives lost.
