While China, Spain and other countries are moving forward with the implementation of High Speed Rail, the United States has not given the matter a sense of priority. Our government needs to jump start this means of transportation as it would create another means of travel which the country desperately needs. In addition, the building of a nationwide system would create many jobs and address the declining national infrastructure.
