jury duty should not be mandatory

My petition is based on jury duty to be in armed forces is voluntary why not is the same to be a jury duty to me is very difficult because I'm a Christian person and is not easy be in that place making decisions of the state supposed to do it
In that part I don't understand the word democratic in that thing they are pushing the people to be a jury duty if the denied the do a big punishment to them I would like to somebody take care of this because like me thousands of people don't like to do it
