Countless times, whether it's on Twitter or Facebook or any of the litany of social media websites I'm apart of, my feed gets clogged with inane petitions. Now some petitions merit some type of legitimacy. For example, campaign reform, what to do with Social Security/Medicare and well; any other relevant issue.
But the White House petition site has became an exercise in futility. Secession, deportation, charging people with treason because they want to ban AR-15s. Enough is enough, so I would like to either see this part of the site changed or reformed. Ya know, maybe change the requirements or actually deliver responses such as the President saying "LOL" when asked about Piers Morgan.
Plus, we can never tell if people sign out of agreeing with petition or just to troll.
