We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Justice for Addison Lay Perez: Help Ban children nylon jump ropes or modify them to prevent accidental hangings .

Created by K.S. on June 27, 2016

On June 3, 2016 my beautiful 8 year old, daughter Addison Lay Perez, was outside playing, with her 6 year old brother, when they tied a rope to my apartments stair case, climbed on to a bike chained to the bottom and tried swinging from the stairs, where she then slipped off the bike and acciendtly hung her self...on June 8th they declared, my daughter, brain dead at 1:37 pm. We then decided to harvest her organs where her life helped save 3 others. I pray that we can either ban children jump ropes from being made out of nylon and (like adult jump ropes) have a weight limit to where they snap to prevent this from happening to another child again. I believe this is justified and will bring some justice to "My Addison"
