The Justice Department to publicly issue an opinion on elements of Treason against the United States.

The US Intelligence Community has determined that the Russian government at the highest level was involved in interference in the US Presidential election for the purposes of destabilizing that process and favoring one candidate. If a US citizen was involved in assisting the Russian Government, or providing aid and comfort to the Russian Government (by way of intentionally confusing the issue or obscuring facts or withholding information), the US Justice Department should publicly opine on whether such conduct constitutes treason against the united states.
