The US has repeatedly created illegal 'laws' which were enforced to the disadvantage of millions of citizens.
As is, unconstitutional laws may take decades to repeal, and the damage is done long before the 'law' is eliminated.
This step would ensure that the rights of the people are seldom violated by illegal law.
It would not preclude Supreme Court examination of laws once in effect.
It also provides immediate feedback regarding the performance of our elected officials 'protecting the constitution.'
Currently those responsible may stay in office for decades before their 'laws' are repealed, during which time they can do great damage.
