Sohagi Zahan Tonu, 19 years of age, an honors student of history, was raped, tortured and killed on 20th March, 2016. This merciless act of brutality happened in Comilla cantonment area, Comilla, Bangladesh. While the authorities have promised justice, the people of Bangladesh have seen too many cases where no action was taken. It is time we ensured justice for Tonu and others like her.
