justify the legality of killing American citizens abroad and increase the transparency of the drone program.

Created by J.S. on January 17, 2013

The President has secretly justified and targeted specific Americans for military strike using the highly protected drone program: Anwar al-Awlaki, Samir Khan, and Mr. Awlaki’s 16-year-old son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki.

This petitions seeks the President's Administration to justify the legality of killing American citizens abroad, increase the transparency of the drone program, and release the classified legal memorandums to a selection of Congress for review.

This petition demands the transparency that was promised by the Administration, and the reigning in of Constitutional powers of the drone program. Checks and balances must be restored.
