K-12 Defense and Deterrence from Violent Perpetrators

Direct Congress to draft and enact legislation requiring K-12 teachers nationwide to receive training in the use of firearms in a school setting to defend their students from active gunmen as part of the teacher certification process as well as require all K-12 teachers to be issued and carry a service firearm during the performance of their duties. Require that all teachers re-qualify with their issued firearm prior to the start of each school year.
