The Kashmir Conflict should be resolved and have the countries become one and live in peace and harmony. The US should recommend this to leaders of India. Pakistan and China. Kashmir is the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. India claims the entire erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir based on an instrument of accession signed in 1947. Pakistan claims Jammu and Kashmir based on its majority Muslim population, where as China claims the Shaksam Valley and Aksai Chin.
