We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Kashmir An Un Addressed issue:

Created by K.M. on October 03, 2016

Pakistan came into existence on August 14, 1947 from the United Indian Subcontinent.
Partition Plan proposed by the Brtish and agreed by all, areas with a Muslim majority were to become a part of the new republic inclusive of Jammu & Kashmir, Junah Garh, etc. The agreed plan wasn't adhered to and all were militarily annexed into India.
Irrespective of the Strategic Interests that the US Government has in India the state of Jammu & Kashmir still remains an unresolved issue between Pakistan & India (Its on the UN Agenda). The people there want a genuine Plebisite. Its a Human Rights issue and the Government of United States should & must take genuine steps to help resolve the issue instead of looking at it as some Terrorist Ploy perpetuated by Pakistan.
