To keep the Administration's promise in converting from oil to safer, cleaner energies by rejecting Keystone XL

The Keystone XL pipeline is estimated to only create 35-50 permanent jobs for the American people. Not only that, energy independence will not be obtained by TransCanada and the American government selling oil to China. If Obama is to keep his integrity with the American people, and show that he will take a stand for something that will affect generations to come, he must force an intervention in our addiction to oil. If he is to keep his promise on curbing America to be the leading force in clean energy, this is his chance to make America a better, cleaner place. A drug addict will always say that he or she will get clean, but usually won't act until there is an intervention. We need Obama to be that intervention.
