We the undersigned do hereby request that the United States of America NOT honor any extradition request (formal or otherwise) of Ms. Amanda Knox by the state of Italy. The evidence that was presented by Ms. Knox was sketchy at best, and she was ultimately exonerated by an Italian court. To extradite her and to try her again would be a direct violation of the Constitution's 5th amendment, which protects against "double jeapordy." Please do not allow one of our own to be forced to undergo a trial for a crime for which she has already been aquitted, and on foreign soil at that. The US Constitution is the "supreme law of the land," and thus it supercedes any written treaty between the United States and any other nation.
