Keep Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners out of the US Milk supply. Don't Amend the Standard of Identity for Milk

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) have filed a petition requesting that the Agency amend the standard of identity for milk and 17 other dairy products to provide for the use of any safe and suitable sweetener as an optional ingredient. Products containing these artificial sweeteners would not have to list the ingredients on labeling. The US Population deserves a NATURAL Milk supply free of dangerous additives. We request that President Obama issue a statement that condemns the actions of the IDFA and NMPF and order MS Hamburg , commissioner of FDA. to reject this request.
