Congress wants to CUT BAH rates for military. It is imperative and crucial that the service members in all branches of the military continue to receive their full BAH monthly allowances. With the small raises in base pay over the past 6 years, the BAH has been viewed as a way of offsetting costs that would help many service members live in close relation to the private sector.
