We propose that Black Friday sales should not start until Friday. Employees should not be forced nor feel obligated or pressured to work on a National Holiday. Consumers should not feel it necessary to cut their Thanksgiving short due to Big Corporations trying to outdo each other and start sales earlier and earlier. Thanksgiving should be protected in some way or we will loose it completely. Do we really want to trade in one of our countries most time honored traditions, a part of our culture that shows the humanity in all of us, in return for Black Thursday?
