keep businesses from discriminating against those seeking employment with criminal histories and child support cases.

Created by K.B. on January 27, 2013

many companies these days are unfairly rejecting applications due to past involvement with the law, or past non violent criminal history. Most employers such as On staff for example claim that it their CLIENTS, that require absolutely NO FELONIES of any kinds no matter how far in the past such acts have occurred. It is stated in every application the "a criminal record does not necessarily bar you from employment" but it always does. And a person without vast financial resources and a clearly written across the union law can bring any kind of case to local govt. There are many out there looking to satisfy child support payments, probation and parole obligations, and more then willing to do so but find themselves blocked by this problem, many of whom become homeless as a result.
