keep children and communities safe by enacting harsher punishment and longer sentences on child molesters.

Created by S.B. on November 15, 2012

A child's innocence is a priceless thing that once lost cannot be restored. When a child's innocence is robbed by a sexual predator they in turn deal with psychological and emotional trauma, and possibly even physical scars that they will have to deal with for the rest of their lives. In an effort to stand for justice for those who have been molested and to make a statement to repeat offenders, we're calling the Obama administration to implement a 25 year minimum sentence per count (not to run concurrently) on child molesters that are over 21 years of age who have sexual intercourse or commit sodomy (i.e. any non-penile/vaginal copulation-like act) with children under the age of 12.
