Save the Community Media Center of the North Bay from destruction. The City of Santa Rosa Staff is proposing to split apart the Public, Education and Government (PEG) components and create a whole new Government Media Services Dept. within the City. This new dept. would use all the funds that currently provide services, training, equipment, and channel space to the City as well as the Educational and Public community. If this proposal passes, the Media Center buildings at Santa Rosa High School would likely be used to expand the ArtQuest Program and all the other campuses and the Public would lose the services the Media Center currently provides. We are under a short timeline since this item comes before the City Council on 3-19-13. Please sign our petition to save the Media Center.
