KEEP THE DOD FROM TAKING TRICARE PRIME INSURANCE AWAY FROM CURRENT RETIREES. CURRENT RETIREES SHOULD BE GRANDFATHERED.

Stop Defense officials from revoking access to TRICARE PRIME for military retirees and their dependents living more than 40 miles from a military treatment facility. If retires are denied access to TRICARE PRIME they would then be expected to shift to TRICARE Standard which is extremely expensive. In the event that the DOD does move forward with this action current retirees already on TRICARE PRIME should be Grandfathered and still be able to participate in the TRICARE PRIME plan. Military retirees budgets could be devastated for them and their families if they are forced into TRICARE Standard plan.
