Keep the Electoral College in the United States Constitution.

Created by A.B. on May 05, 2015

The Electoral College should continued to be used in the election process of the President and Vice-President. The Electoral College helps maintain a two party and a federal system of government. It also makes the candidates appear to many different states instead of just a few because no candidate can win the majority of the electoral votes just by appealing to a certain region of the United States. Contrary to belief, the Electoral College is a democratic way of voting. Our government is a representative democracy which is exactly what the Electoral College is. Its a group of representatives that help pick our President. If the Electoral College was to be considered to be abolished,two-thirds of both houses would have to agree to it and three-fourths of the states would have to ratify it.
