There is Fraud within the dependency court systems across the nation. Unethical social workers and Court officers (including Judges) are in league to cheat taxes payers by separating children from their families. While there are many cases that children need to be removed for serious reasons. There are also many cases that does not meet that criteria. In every case there should be an effort to place children with willing and able relatives. But Children are being removed from homes and willing & able family members are being ignored. Social workers prefer to keep the children in the system in order to maintain a steady stream of federal funding. This corrupt system needs to be reformed so children are not unnessarily separated from their biological families while protecting children.
