In taking or keeping office, any and all political figures must pass a federal background check eliminating those politicians with felonies from taking a biased stance on political issues. If American citizens are to give up certain rights due to felonies, so should government officials who's standings have severe power over issues in which criminals should not be involved. Keep the irresponsible voices from taking their own view of 'the people' the represent and give just a bit more honesty in politics.
