We, the people, are requesting, nay, demanding, that George R. R. Martin be kept alive by any means necessary until such a time that his book series, "A Song of Ice and Fire" has been successfully completed. According to a recent interview, he himself has vowed that he will never let anyone else write a story set in the universe he created,
“Not while I'm alive...I don’t think my wife, if she survives me, will allow that either... It's just a cash cow to them. And then we get abominations to my mind like Scarlett, the Gone with the Wind sequel.”
In the interest of protecting these works of literature from becoming tarnished by unworthy authorship, we must allow him to finish his work.
