Keep "In God We Trust" on our currency and "One Nation Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance

Created by S.R. on November 10, 2013

According to a recent poll, 77% of Americans are Christians, and in another poll, more than 8 out of 10 Americans believe in a higher power (Judeo-Christian God, Vishnu, Allah, etc.). A large majority of Americans does not need to be punished, and such hostility towards religion on the part of non-believers does not have any place in our Constitution. Because of the religious heritage of our beloved nation, the unity it largely promotes, and lack of coercion from the government onto citizens, and no sectarian messages at all, In God We Trust should remain on currency as well as One Nation Under God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Hostility to religion has no place in our First Amendment traditions (Justice Stephen Breyer)

We the People of the USA urge Pres Obama to keep these traditions!
