There are many Christians in the united states. The fact that "In God We Trust" is printed on our currency reflects the freedom of religion that every soldier in history has died protecting since the constitution was drafted. The "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, well that is too broad a statement, which god? whose god? could be any god, atheists who don't believe in any gods, to them material belongings are there god because they can see and touch them. SO keep it. it means something different to every one but it it is equally important to the freedom of religion or alternately the freedom to believe in no religion.
