The right to bear arms is a constitutional right that all citizens can freely enjoy without worry of discrimination. The publicizing of registered firearm owners violates the privacy and privilege of gun ownership. In addition to this violation of privacy it poses a serious risk of safety to both registered and non-registered gun owners by encouraging criminals to unlawfully obtain said firearms to be used for illegal activity. It is a matter of negligence to do such an act. This petition calls for any mass media outlet or any other social information site to not publicize registered firearms, owners identification, and locations.
