to keep the Home Mortgage Interest Deduction in place for homeowners, especially with incomes under $250,000/yr.

Created by J.D. on November 28, 2012

With Congress and the Administration looking to close tax loopholes and way to generate income for the federal government, you need to look elsewhere. The housing crisis would only be further worsened as home values would tumble, and this would grossly put a negative effect on the middle-class by losing this deduction. At minimum, this needs to be kept for households that annual salaries are $250,000/yr and under. Why don't we close some of the loopholes that had some major corporations paying zero taxes to the federal government and leave the middle class alone.
