keep the internet fair and open and uphold net neutrality by telling the FCC chairman to vote against proceeding 04-207

Created by P.P. on April 24, 2014

We believe that the great future american entrepreneurs of the internet are directly threatened by the FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler's proposed "Fast Lane" for internet connections in 04-207. The principle of net neutrality is that no internet content providers are discriminated against whether it is because of the nature of their content or because of their ability to pay tolls. This regulation would set up a toll on content providers for a faster internet and would create a two tiered internet. This violates the principles of equality and freedom of speech on which the internet was founded. Obama has expressed strong support for net neutrality in the past and should condemn the actions of the FCC chairman and ask that he vote against the proposed regulations.
