We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Keep the Internet under US Constitutional control and not under United Nations or any other foreign entity.

Created by K.B. on September 29, 2016

Free speech is at risk of being lost on the Internet if power over it is transferred over to any other governmental agency other than the laws abiding in the U.S. constitution. This can lead to the loss of the one onclave of free speech that is still untampered with. Free speech is not only encouraged, but entirely necessary to the continuation of a free state and without the internet remaining free then US citizens could have their media and speech monitored or even controlled, which is the case in other countries such as China. Our government is sworn to protect the Constitution of the US, along with free speech which is clearly stated in the 1st amendment. The Internet must remain free and it is the duty of all elected officials to ensure that it is never given to any foreign entity.
