The natural and beautiful environment of Lake Tahoe draws many people from all over the US to come play, relax, and enjoy. However, this influx of people is causing the lake to lose its amazing clean, blue clarity and the area is becoming traffic heavy and polluted. We must tackle this problem by enforcing the current regulations and developing new ideas to stop the pollution of the lake and the ecosystem present. By controlling erosion, implementing alternative transportation methods, and controlling overdevelopment are all part of the total solution to the problems existing at Tahoe. This will ensure that our future generations may enjoy the lake’s amazing features and will keep pollution very minimal so the environment will prosper instead of being destroyed by people and ignorance.
