Please ignore any petition or policy that would seek to ban "AR-Style" rifles. "AR-Style" rifles are owned and used lawfully by many Americans. AR-Style rifles are often no more, or even less powerful than rifles primarily used for hunting. AR-Style rifles are not assault weapons, they are meant for target shooting and home defense. Assault weapons, such as the m-16 rifle (carried by many branches of the U.S. Military) is highly limited from public access as it stands. Banning AR-style weapons from public access would only deprive us, the people of the United States of America. 9/11 (the worst terror attack on U.S. Soil) was committed with box cutters and airplanes. Timothy McVeigh used fertilizer in his act of domestic terror. Please make an educated choice, and support the 2nd Amendment
