Keep Public Service Loan Forgiveness uncapped!

Created by E.B. on November 24, 2015

When the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Act was passed, college students were promised their eligible loans would be forgiven after 10 years of public service. Many borrowed and even chose their majors with this promise in mind. President Obama now wants to put a cap on the amount of debt that will be forgiven after 10 years, which equals the aggregate loan limit for independent undergraduate students ($57,000), even though many public service jobs require graduate degrees. Please sign this petition and tell President Obama to keep the promise of loan forgiveness for public servants.
