This petition is to restore the name of the Canal Zone on all Government websites that ask for a persons place of birth. The Canal Zone is an intricate part of U.S. history and has been the birthplace of millions of U.S. Citizens that reside all over the world including The Honorable U.S. Senator of Arizona, John McCain. The exponential growth of the Internet has transformed most government documents to digital, fillable documents that provide list of countries that regrettably do not contain the Canal Zone as a place of birth. As an example of the neglect, this site refuses to capitalize the words "Canal Zone". This needs to change because millions of Zonians are depending on this petition.
