Ban microplastics in personal products.
Hi, I'm Bonnie - I'm 12 y.o. from Texas. My friends and I want microbeads banned from all products. Why? They just go down our drains - in our water system - in our oceans. Microplastic beads harm animals when they eat, and put toxins in our water.
Almost all beauty products that have a "Natural scrub" really just contain tiny pieces of plastic. These tiny pieces of plastic can take over a 1000 years just to decompose.
If you want your skin to be nice, grow a loofah. It is a plant that's like a sponge but doesn't soak up a lot of water. It feels like micro plastic but won't hurt our Earth.
