President Obama continues to say his administration is committed to helping homeowners who are underwater in their homes. What is the administration REALLY doing to monitor the mortgage companies actions. I am a responsible homeowner who has good credit and has continued to pay my mortgage on time. I have tried to modify and refinance with my current lender and been turned down mulitple times because I am not deliquent. Why do these programs only help irresponsible deliquent deadbeats? Because I am proactively trying to seek assistance to avoid foreclosure I am punished. Each time dragged through more and more paperwork and red tape. President Obamas plan IS NOT WORKING!
